2022 TRMCC AGM

The 2022 Club AGM is being held in the South Island from the afternoon of Friday 18th February 2022 until the morning of Sunday 20th February 2022 at the Hanmer Springs Forest Camp, Hanmer Springs. This has been arranged to coincide with the 2022 Burt Munro which is being held 09-13th February (for those attending and returning from that event).

The Club is very fortunate in having exclusive use of the Hanmer Springs Forest Camp from Friday 18th February 2022 until Sunday 20th February 2022. All members are strongly encouraged to book their accommodation at the Hanmer Springs Forest Camp as the Club is having to guarantee the daily occupancy rate in order to secure this very cost-efficient and well-appointed venue. Details below. Please mention you are in the Triumph Riders Motorcycle Club NZ when making your booking as the camp is closed to the public over these dates.

Dates:

Friday 18th February – Sunday 20th February 2022.

Location:

Hanmer Springs Forest Camp Trust

You will see from the camp’s website that the Forest Camp has a range of different types of good accommodation at reasonable prices. Please share this with other chapter members and encourage them to book early. We are having catering and drinks brought into the venue and our AGM meeting will be held there as well. It is great that we have the whole venue to ourselves so please support the Club by staying at the Camp.

The menu will be published once finalised but it promises to be a good one and provided by outside local caterers, the Rusty Carrot. It will include gluten-free and non-meat options. Meals will be catered for Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, Saturday dinner and Sunday breakfast. Registrations, bookings for meals, and the AGM tee shirt will again only be available via the Club’s online shop which is only visible to members. Please note if not pre-purchasing meals the nearest food is in Hanmer Springs itself 3km away. Because outside caterers are being used casual meals can not be purchased at the time. All meals must be pre-purchased.

Please note while we encourage everyone to have an enjoyable and social time:

a) Safety at this event is paramount. Responsible behaviour and a concern for the safety, and consideration of all others in attendance is expected.

b) This includes the Club’s official AGM ride. Anyone not following the instructions of the appointed AGM Ride Road Boss will be asked to leave the ride; likewise for any breaches of riding etiquette endangering the saftey of others or themselves (EG: passing on the inside).

c) As the Club is legally accountable under section 248(3) of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 any person deemed intoxicated by the organisers will not be supplied with any futher alcohol.
