NEW AUCKLAND CHAPTER PRESIDENT

In a closely run election, Steve Siegel was elected the new president of the Auckland Chapter at the chapter’s AGM on Saturday 26 September which was generously hosted by Auckland member Nick Farrelly.
It was a tight contest between Steve and runner up Neal Latto, with only a few votes separating the two. Thanks also to Peter Miller for putting his hat in the ring.
In another very tight vote, Auckland member Gerald Whitehouse was elected Chapter Vice-President over incumbent Chris Connelly.
Grateful thanks to both Rob Thorne who decided to stand down as president after several terms of office, and also to Chris for his service as VP.
Brad Pike was re-elected unopposed as chapter secretary and Dave Weston again re-elected unopposed as chapter treasurer.
Beforehand members were treated to a complimentary dinner of roast ham, roast chicken, salad and rolls organised by Rob and helpers. A great night was had by all of the 30-odd chapter members who were present.
