A reminder please to put your membership number and name on the bank details when depositing your membership renewal!
We are getting payments with no details so have no idea who the payee is. In cases like this our long suffering (but nevertheless ruthless when he needs to be 🤣) Membership Officer Mickey will simply just refund the money to the account from which it came and the member in question will not have actually renewed and be at risk of having their membership lapse as the only thing Mickey chases after is the bike in front of him or a well deserved ale! 🍺

    22nd July 1965 – 8th September 2020
    Founding Member #3

It is with incredible sadness that we announce the passing of our brother Ed Winiana, founding member #3 of the Triumph Riders Motorcycle Club of New Zealand and Manawatu Chapter President.
Ed was a man larger than life whose two biggest passions were his whanau and his beloved Triumph Rocket 3s. Ed was a huge asset to our Club and his passing is at the moment just too overwhelming to comprehend. His organisational skills and passion for club and chapter events was legendary. He went out doing what he loved best, riding his Rocket 3. TRMCC extends its deepest condolences to Sandra his partner, his children, whanau and friends.
Ed is being brought to Rotorua Hospital on Wednesday morning from Wairoa and from there will travel to the Te Awahou Funeral Home overnight at 1624 State Highway 1, Foxton. Sandra will be taking Ed back to their home at Foxton Beach on Thursday and at this stage plans to have the funeral service on Monday 14 September (time tba) followed by a private cremation. Sandra extends a welcome for any TRMCC members and riders who can and would like to accompany Ed on any part of his journey home.
All TRMCC members who can, are encouraged to attend Ed’s funeral service in Foxton on Monday (time and venue TBA) to honour his passing. Covid Level 2 restrictions might impact on attendance numbers but we hope at least to be able give the ride by a man of Ed’s mana rightfully deserves.
